Community rules

1. What this is about

These terms apply to the community features of CheatVerified (account, comments, chat, cheat reports). Reading the site does not require an account. The provider is [Please fill in under Admin → Settings → Legal] (see imprint).

2. Account

An account is free. You must be at least 16 years old. One account per person. Keep your password secret. Usernames must not impersonate anyone (e.g. our team, Rockstar Games or other users) and must not be offensive. You can delete your account yourself at any time.

3. Rules for posts

• No insults, hate speech, threats or harassment.
• No links, no advertising, no selling of cheats, accounts or in-game currency.
• No leaks, piracy, hacks/mod menus for online modes or guides to scam other players.
• No personal data – neither yours nor anyone else's.
• Don't present made-up codes as "working". Story spoilers only in #story.
• Nothing that breaks the law or the rights of others (e.g. copyright or personality rights).

4. Moderation

Posts appear immediately. An automatic filter blocks links and insults. Anyone can report a post; posts reported from three different networks are hidden automatically and reviewed by us. If rules are broken we may hide or delete posts and suspend accounts temporarily or permanently. You will receive a statement of reasons in your account or by e-mail. If you think a decision is wrong, write to [Please fill in under Admin → Settings → Legal] and we will review it again.

5. Notices of illegal content

You can report illegal content with the "Report" button or by e-mail to [Please fill in under Admin → Settings → Legal] (please include a link to the post and an explanation). We handle notices promptly and carefully.

6. Rights to your posts

Your posts remain yours. You grant us the simple, free right to display them on CheatVerified while they are online. If we confirm a cheat you reported, we credit your username as the reporter; we write the description of the cheat ourselves.

7. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Authors are responsible for their own posts. We do not guarantee that cheats, glitches or tips work in every game version.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these terms for the future and will inform you of material changes in good time. You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
